Hi, I’m Janet Testaz, but you can call me JT.

 I am a holistic nutritionist and emotional healing facilitator. I am passionate about supporting people on their wellness journey, not just in the physical sense, but an awakening of the mind and soul too.

As a holistic nutritionist and certified life coach, I believe the body is equipped to repair itself when given the right tools and some genuine self-love. But I would never have come to this realisation without my own life-altering health scare…

At age 26 I was rushed to hospital in excruciating pain due to a rare type of malignant kidney tumour and 5 days later had my kidney removed. The surgeon told me to just ‘ eat and drink as normal and I knew that there was way more to it than that. Like why the hell did this happen in the first place?

I knew that from this experience I had a lot to learn and subsequently, a lot to give. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, amazed at just how holistically my body worked and responded to change. I then went on to study life coaching and nutritional medicine, connecting my real-life experiences with intensive training.

My own healing journey with adult acne, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues and gut problems combined with my Advanced Diploma in Nutritional (Naturopathic training) Medicine, gives me a practical and personal understanding of the issues involved.

With life-giving foods and emotional management tools used to reconnect with ourselves, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for complete, vibrant wellness to everyone I work with.

What Exactly is a Holistic Nutritionist Anyway?

Holistic treatment understands that systems are intimately linked with one another, therefore you are treating the WHOLE person for a condition: body, mind and soul. By looking at the big picture with what is happening to your health, we can see what is holding you back. Janet uses functional testing combined with the ancient wisdom of food and culture to apply changes to ourselves so that we can improve our modern daily lives.

A healthy gut is the foundation to good health with bloating, gas, reflux, constipation and IBS symptoms an extremely common complaint.

Ensuring that you get quality, restful sleep is a key focus that JT works on with her clients. Whether it is sleep issues or energy slumps throughout the day, we can address these simply and naturally.

Going through a gentle detoxification process can often address many other health issues including weight loss, infertility and hormonal imbalances.

JT is extremely passionate about skin health having experienced her own struggles with cystic acne and understands the need to address the root cause of the condition, not just the complaint.

JT works to educate people about making lasting, sustainable changes that allow the body to heal. It isn’t just about calories in and calories out.

By applying stress management techniques and addressing nutritional deficiencies, JT provides you with the tools to help you overcome this common complaint.

I just wanted to pass on the last week or so I have been feeling so much better, yesterday for instance I ate exactly what I should have eaten ie health wise portion controlled… happily and with energy ie with out being exhausted or starving..
Obviously sleep is important but a testament to the tweaks you have made i was at 5:30am and late sleep due to husband snoring…
Also went to gym… a ‘healthy’ day wouldn’t have been possible a month ago

I had my first normal period this month in can't remember how long I was pretty excited, it was just normal like it only went for 5 days it was on time and it was normal bleeding no super heavy bleeding or clot. Oh and I had no symptoms like bloating or cramping during my period or the week before, I was like is this what a 'normal' period is like F^&K this is a walk in the park
